Client expectation:

  • Meeting the specification and ambience of a sample room example done by a contracted designer, while meeting a given budget and tight delivery terms for the agreed parts.
  • Scheduling phased fixtures deliveries and planning/completing fit-out works to minimize the downtime at the client’s business.
  • Turning the customer’s vision of the hotel face-lift into a reality making it more attractive for hotel guests.

Hotel fixtures and fit-out for a family owned German hotel

We took care of:

CAPS successfully managed to complete the whole project to the great satisfaction of the client.  The new, modernized look of the hotel rooms and common areas feature pleasant wood finishes and simple elegance. The key project highlights included the following:

  • Rooms:
    – each room is unique, yet kept in 2 consistent finish themes: pine (and patinated pine) and oak.
    – room elements: decorative paneling, bed headboard with a built-in LED lighting system, variety of built-in closets, table, window panels, decorative non-loadbearing columns, plaster-board elements, window shutters, window sills, decorative bathroom elements and bathroom top replacements.
  • Common areas renewal:
    – a new, attractive look was given to the reception, breakfast area and corridors, where we did on-site improvements to most of the existing fixtures and provided a various range of fit-out works.

We also suggested and introduced some changes to the initial specification in order to optimise the material characteristics in line with the client’s requirements but also keeping in mind the actual fixture or element purpose. We recommended, for example, using HPL-laminated tops for suitcase racks, moisture-protective materials for window-sills plus tougher material for breakfast area fixtures and their corners.

Key facts:

  • We have supplied fixtures and fittings to all of the 28 rooms
  • We did the common areas face-lift and some fit-out works
  • Project completion: January 2017
