Furniture and fittings for education sector

Client expectation:

  • Co-ordinating our works to fit in with other contractors as the site was a brand new building.
  • Translating the architects vision for the units into a working design, including finding a solution for wiring within the unit to keep the unit design clean and neat.
  • Trialling various finishes to meet the architects vision of how the finished units will look.

We took care of:

  • We trialled the fixtures and fittings ensuring the client-specified lighting system worked with the wider design. The lights were a client specification and add a modern twist to a traditional design. The units also included disguised power modules offering power and internet connectivity to the units.
  • Staggered deliveries were organised to ensure the site was not overloaded with units, keeping the space free for working
in and allowing the safe storage of the units before installation.
  • CAPS prepared well with several visits to site, including meeting with the client, the architects and the main contractors constructing the new building. We have obtained and collected all the necessary information to facilitate a smooth installation for the client.

Key facts:

We have completed many projects that involved a wide and diversified product portfolio.
